OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational Therapy helps students build the skills needed to participate  in daily life activities or “occupations.” Our occupational therapist uses her unique expertise to help our students adapt to their learning environment so they can successfully participate in the academic setting. Qualifying students are provided with support in areas such as bilateral coordination, fine motor skills, visual perceptual/motor skills, and graphomotor skills to help facilitate academic success. Improvement in these areas can promote independence throughout the school day, including mealtime, organization in the classroom, and legibility for handwriting.
